People Systems, Analytics, and AI Manager

Location: Remote - US

Pay ranges by US geographic zone: $103,600–$142,450 for Zone 3, $109,700–$150,810 for Zone 2, and $121,800–$167,530 for Zone 1. RSUs, health, vision, dental, and mental health benefits are provided in addition to salary.

What you will do

• Own HR systems including HRIS, applicant tracking, performance, compensation, and learning platforms, covering configuration, data integrity, security roles, integrations, and release management.
• Design and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics for headcount, hiring, retention, engagement, compensation, and workforce planning.
• Partner with People Operations, Finance, and business leaders to define metrics, analyze data, and recommend actions.
• Use AI tools to accelerate analysis and create automated insights, natural-language summaries, visualizations, and executive-ready narratives.
• Establish People data standards, quality checks, documentation, privacy controls, and a single source of truth across systems.
• Manage reporting and systems requests, automate recurring workflows, support system projects and annual cycles, and enable users through training, office hours, and guides.

Requirements

• 8+ years of related experience in HR systems, People analytics, or HR operations, including hands-on ownership of reporting and dashboards in a technology or high-growth environment.
• Expert-level knowledge of at least one major HRIS, such as Workday, Rippling, or similar, including report writing, calculated fields, and security configuration.
• Strong proficiency with analytics and visualization tools such as SQL, Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar, plus advanced spreadsheet skills.
• Demonstrated fluency with AI tooling for data analysis, insight generation, visualizations, and narratives, with sound judgment about accuracy and appropriate use.
• Ability to translate business questions into metrics and communicate findings clearly to non-technical leaders.
• Strong understanding of employee-data integrity, privacy, and confidentiality practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders independently, deliver on time, and maintain attention to detail.
• Curious and pragmatic problem-solving approach, with an interest in simplifying complex processes and data.
• Comfort working with a highly distributed team across time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience with data pipelines, data warehouses, or scripting such as Python or dbt.
• Experience with integrations and workflow automation tools.
• Knowledge of workforce planning, compensation, or engagement analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Analytics, Business, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
