People Operations Generalist (AI Healthcare)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, with office attendance on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Manage employee questions through the HR ticketing system and identify recurring issues for self-service resources and process improvements.
• Own new-hire onboarding, including paperwork, Rippling setup, equipment, and access coordination with IT.
• Administer benefits enrollments, qualifying life events, open enrollment, renewals, and employee benefits support.
• Manage workers’ compensation claims from start to finish.
• Run compliance programs, audits, harassment prevention training, EEO-1 reporting, and state-specific filings.
• Partner with Payroll, Legal, Finance, and IT to improve People Operations processes as the organization scales.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in People Operations, HR Generalist, or HR Coordinator roles.
• Hands-on experience with an HRIS; Rippling experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience administering employee benefits and managing workers’ compensation claims.
• Working knowledge of federal and multi-state compliance requirements, including EEO-1 reporting and required training mandates.
• Ability to prioritize independently in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and written and verbal communication skills.
