Project Manager (Environmental Projects)

Location: East England District, United Kingdom; based at a hirify.global office in the district, with regular work particularly welcomed from Santon Downham, Suffolk, or Bedgebury, Kent. Occasional travel across East England, including ad hoc overnight stays, is required.

Salary: £40,388–£43,482 per year.

What you will do

• Lead environmental, estate, infrastructure, operational-facility, visitor-facility, and Net Zero projects from initial idea through completion.
• Work with colleagues, specialist advisers, contractors, external partners, and stakeholders to deliver safe, practical, and lasting outcomes.
• Develop project plans, manage budgets, monitor risks, report progress, and ensure delivery on time and to required quality standards.
• Develop business cases and investment proposals with clear recommendations to support decision-making and value for money.
• Deliver projects involving sustainable deer-management facilities, forest-estate improvements, visitor access and customer experience, renewable energy, low-carbon infrastructure, and emissions reduction.

• Ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and bring together different perspectives.
• Ability to manage projects safely, on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
• Ability to develop project plans, manage budgets, monitor risks, report progress, and prepare business cases and investment proposals.

Hiring process
