Project Manager (Power Transmission & Distribution)

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of Power T&D projects from ECI and mobilisation through to completion.
• Coordinate engineering, commercial, construction and supply chain teams while maintaining project programmes, delivery strategies and resource plans.
• Manage project budgets, cost control, forecasting, profitability, risks, opportunities and contractual changes.
• Build relationships with clients, stakeholders, regulatory bodies and delivery partners, acting as the primary contact for allocated projects.
• Champion health, safety, wellbeing, quality, compliance and continuous improvement across projects.
• Lead and develop project teams and contribute to Scotland leadership, business planning and growth initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering complex infrastructure or utility projects.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and delivery methodologies.
• Experience managing project budgets, programmes and commercial performance.
• Excellent stakeholder and client management capabilities.
• Demonstrable leadership and team management experience.
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Nice to have

• Experience in Power Transmission, Distribution, Energy, Utilities or Civil Infrastructure.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts and contractual management.
• APM PMQ, PRINCE2 or an equivalent project management qualification.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, construction or project management.
