Senior Project Manager (Power Transmission & Distribution)

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of Power Transmission & Distribution projects from ECI and mobilisation through to completion.
• Ensure safe delivery on programme, within budget, and in line with client expectations.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering, commercial, construction, and supply chain teams.
• Manage project programmes, delivery strategies, resource plans, risks, opportunities, financial performance, forecasting, and profitability.
• Manage client, stakeholder, regulatory body, and delivery partner relationships, acting as the primary contact for allocated projects.
• Lead project teams, support talent development, contribute to the Scotland leadership team, and identify opportunities for operational improvement and business growth.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering complex infrastructure or utility projects.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and delivery methodologies.
• Experience managing project budgets, programmes, and commercial performance.
• Excellent stakeholder and client management capabilities.
• Demonstrable leadership and team management experience.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong leadership presence, organisational ability, commercial awareness, relationship focus, adaptability, and commitment to delivery excellence, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Nice to have

• Experience in Power Transmission, Distribution, Energy, Utilities, or Civil Infrastructure sectors.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts and contractual management.
• APM PMQ, PRINCE2, or an equivalent project management qualification.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, construction, or project management.
