Lead Service Operations Specialist (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Minneapolis, Charlotte, or Las Vegas, United States; employees work in the office at least four days per week and may work from home one day per week.

Base pay: $81,700–$112,300 per year, plus potential variable compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Analyze brokerage operations workflows, bottlenecks, control gaps, and automation opportunities.
• Lead process mapping, root cause analysis, value stream reviews, workflow redesign, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Gather and prioritize business requirements, create user stories and process documentation, and partner with technology teams through solution delivery.
• Analyze operational metrics and develop reporting and dashboards for leadership decision-making.
• Support operational and technology projects, including testing, implementation planning, training, communication, and adoption.
• Coordinate with Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and other stakeholders to reduce manual effort, strengthen controls, and improve client and advisor experiences.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of experience in operations, business analysis, process improvement, or related disciplines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience documenting business requirements and process workflows.
• Ability to communicate effectively with business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
• Valid United States work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Active FINRA Series 99 or Series 7 licenses, or interest in obtaining them.
• Experience in Brokerage, Clearing, Custody, Trust, or Financial Services Operations.
• Experience supporting operational modernization or transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or continuous improvement experience.
• Experience with user acceptance testing and business system implementations.
• Familiarity with operational risk management and control environments.
