HR Digital Product Owner (HR Tech)

Location: Owings Mills, Maryland, United States; hybrid work with up to one day per week from home. Applicants must have US work authorization that does not require current or future visa sponsorship.

Base salary: $96,500–$164,000 annually for Maryland, Colorado, Washington, and remote workers.

What you will do

• Partner with the Senior Product Manager to develop roadmaps, set priorities, and execute initiatives across the HR Digital portfolio.
• Lead technical discovery, requirements definition, user story creation, acceptance criteria, and backlog prioritization.
• Collaborate with HR stakeholders, technology, architecture, compliance, data analytics, and other partners to deliver scalable digital solutions.
• Provide day-to-day product direction during backlog refinement, sprint planning, solution validation, testing, and release readiness.
• Coordinate releases, user acceptance testing, stakeholder communications, adoption, training, and operational transitions.
• Monitor product performance, feedback, service metrics, and analytics to optimize HR processes, self-service, automation, and digital experiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of total relevant work experience.
• Experience with product ownership, Agile delivery, roadmap execution, requirements definition, and prioritized backlogs.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with HR business stakeholders, technology teams, architecture, compliance, data analytics, and other partners.
• Ability to support product delivery, release coordination, adoption, continuous improvement, and changing priorities across multiple HR applications.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow HR Service Delivery, including case management, associate workflows, and knowledge management.
• Working knowledge of Workday applications such as HCM, Absence, or Talent and their integrations with enterprise platforms.
• Experience translating HR and associate experience needs into product requirements, user stories, and prioritized backlogs.
• Experience with Agile delivery tools such as Rally and Jira.
• Certified Product Owner credential such as CSPO, PSPO, or equivalent.
• ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator or HRSD Implementation Specialist.
