Civil Engineering Intern (PVEDI)

What you will do

• Assist with civil drawings, calculations, reports, data collection, and project documentation.
• Support grading, drainage, utility, roadway, and site layout design and coordination.
• Participate in project meetings, site visits, field observations, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Apply civil engineering principles, design tools, codes, and technical standards to active projects.
• Learn how site plans, calculations, reports, and construction documents are developed and reviewed.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant engineering, design, or technical coursework.
• Basic understanding of civil engineering principles.
• Basic proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software and Microsoft Office.
• Must work from the Sewickley, Pennsylvania location and participate in site visits and field observations.

Nice to have

• Internship, co-op, or project experience related to civil engineering.
• Familiarity with grading, drainage, utilities, transportation, or site development concepts.
• Involvement in ASCE or related engineering organizations.
