Commercial Lines Account Manager

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day servicing, retention, renewals, and account administration for an assigned book of Commercial Lines insurance clients.
• Respond to client requests about coverage, policies, endorsements, certificates, billing, and other account needs.
• Review applications, renewal requests, endorsements, audits, policies, and related documentation for accuracy, appropriate coverage, rating, and adherence to carrier underwriting guidelines.
• Prepare and process binders, policies, endorsements, certificates of insurance, audits, cancellations, premium finance agreements, invoices, and check requests.
• Support premium and audit collection efforts and maintain accurate client information in agency management systems.
• Build relationships and coordinate effectively with clients, producers, carriers, underwriters, and internal teammates while providing backup support as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Florida 2-20 General Lines Insurance License.
• Working knowledge of Commercial Lines coverages, policies, endorsements, carrier underwriting guidelines, insurance products, underwriting practices, and rating.
• Strong client service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, producers, carriers, underwriters, and internal teammates.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple client needs and deadlines, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and high attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Commercial Lines insurance experience.
• Experience working within an insurance agency management system.
