Commercial Lines Account Manager, Select

Location: Hybrid role based in Phoenix or Tempe, Arizona, United States.

What you will do

• Manage client relationships, account retention, and competitive commercial insurance programs.
• Analyze coverage options, prepare recommendations and proposals, and implement insurance programs.
• Manage renewal workflows, negotiate new and renewed coverage, and prevent lapses in coverage.
• Educate clients on policy changes, exclusions, coverage, and insurance industry trends.
• Respond to client and carrier requests, assist with claims reporting, and coordinate account service activities.
• Maintain account records, invoicing and collections processes, cancellations, and performance targets, including at least 92% retention.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a commercial Property & Casualty insurance agency.
• Active Property and Casualty insurance license required.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment with a high degree of accuracy.
• Comfort with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.
• College degree preferred; industry designation or willingness to complete industry courses expected.
