Account Manager, Commercial Lines

What you will do

• Manage policy maintenance and day-to-day service for an assigned book of condominium and HOA accounts.
• Build client relationships, support client advisors, and contribute to retention and renewal goals.
• Review exposures and insurance programs, evaluate carrier fit, and help market, quote, and prepare client proposals.
• Handle initial claims reports, monitor claim progress, and follow up on carrier activities such as endorsements and claims.
• Identify opportunities to round out customers’ commercial and personal insurance portfolios and generate referrals.
• Coach junior commercial lines staff and support team meetings and initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 5+ years of commercial insurance experience, or a recognized equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including accurate grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Strong accounting or mathematical skills, critical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office; familiarity with agency management systems is required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Compliance with continuing education requirements for agent licensing and professional designations.
