Network Installation Technician

Location: On-site in Norfolk, Virginia, United States. An active Secret security clearance is required to start.

What you will do

• Prepare and deliver Installation Design Plan and As-Built Drawing packages in accordance with MSC and American Bureau of Shipping standards.
• Provide technical troubleshooting, fault isolation, and fault remediation during system installations and CRQ implementation.
• Support facility and system installations, modifications, changes, physical and logical system installation, component activation, and migration.
• Support de-installation, deactivation, technology upgrades, and refresh activities.
• Review and provide Pre-Installation Test and Check-Out procedures for systems under engineering activities.
• Prepare detailed Rollback Plans for LRIP installations, including the process for returning systems to the prior MSC baseline platform when installation is not feasible.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of related experience, specifically with Windows.
• Active Secret security clearance required to start.
• Must hold DoD-approved certifications required for a Network Operations Specialist under 8140.02/8140.03 rules.
• Accepted certifications include Security+ CE, Network+ CE, CySA+, CASP+, CCNA, CCNP, GSEC, GCIA, GCWN, GCIH, CEH, and Microsoft Security, Compliance, or Identity certifications.
