Network and Computer Systems Administrator (DoD)

Location: Hurlburt Field, Florida, United States; full-time on-site position. Must support on-call operations and a 24/7 Mission Systems Support Center.

What you will do

• Provide Tier 1 AOC Weapons System support to AFSOC and Unit Operations Centers, escalating Tier 2 and Tier 3 issues as needed.
• Administer databases, servers, networks, mobile devices, radios, clients, switches, routers, firewalls, and related infrastructure.
• Perform monitoring, patching, software configuration, maintenance, upgrades, tech refreshes, and operating-system enhancements.
• Maintain AFSOC Patriot Excalibur instances, including hardware and software readiness and patching.
• Monitor, diagnose, and resolve complex network, storage, hardware, and software issues while logging and coordinating incidents.
• Support deployed and in-garrison sites, define operations and maintenance processes, and develop incident-response measures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or Information Technology, or 3 years of equivalent professional experience.
• At least 3 years of Information Technology experience, including at least 1 year as a Systems Administrator.
• Current DoD Active SECRET clearance or ability to receive a TS/SCI clearance.
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) and IAT Level II certification.
• Experience with the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), Windows 2012 or higher, scripting, PowerShell for Windows, Bash for Linux, and Active Directory.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods.
• Availability for on-call support as needed.

Nice to have

• Mobile device management (MDM) experience.
• Amazon Web Services certifications, including AWS SysOps Administrator Associate.
• MDM certifications such as AirWatch Enterprise Mobility Professional, MobileIron Administration Certification, or IBM Certified Deployment Professional for MaaS360 On-Premise.
• Systems administration certifications such as MCSA or RHCSA.
