Network Administrator (Network Engineer III)

Location: Fort Belvoir, VA; 5 days onsite. Active Secret clearance required; eligibility for TS/SCI and CompTIA Security+ certification required.

What you will do

• Develop and deploy network system plans and designs meeting performance, security, compliance, and organizational requirements.
• Conduct network architecture design, feasibility studies, and cost studies.
• Define monitoring, maintenance, expansion, contingency, and recovery plans to keep the network responsive to changing demand.
• Troubleshoot network issues and develop appropriate solutions, resources, and deployment processes.
• Monitor networking technologies, hardware, software, and industry best practices to enhance technical knowledge.
• Contribute independently and collaboratively to moderately complex project work.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance required, with eligibility for TS/SCI.
• CompTIA Security+ certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• 4–7 years of related experience.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively and report to a manager.
