IT Manager (Robotics)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; employment eligibility is verified through E-Verify.

Yearly base salary: $125,000–$155,000.

What you will do

• Build, manage, and optimize internal IT operations, systems, and standard operating procedures.
• Manage technology vendors, internet service providers, software support teams, the annual IT budget, and technology planning.
• Establish IT security, data privacy, device usage, and remote work policies while supporting regulatory compliance.
• Plan and execute end-to-end IT projects, including cloud migrations, system upgrades, office expansions, and software rollouts.
• Administer local networks, servers, storage, identity and access systems, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Azure AD/Entra ID, Active Directory, and Okta.
• Implement cybersecurity, endpoint protection, patching, MFA, backups, disaster recovery, and end-user support for Windows/macOS, applications, and connectivity.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in IT systems administration, network administration, or IT support engineering.
• 2+ years in a supervisory, team lead, or sole-contributor IT manager role with direct responsibility for overall IT environment health.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end IT projects without heavy external assistance.
• Deep familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, firewalls such as Fortinet, SonicWall, or Cisco Meraki, and wireless networking.
• Expert administration of Microsoft 365/Entra ID or Google Workspace, plus Windows Server or Linux environments.
• Experience with MDM/RMM tools such as Intune, Jamf, NinjaOne, or Datto for device provisioning, patching, and monitoring.
• Hands-on experience configuring firewalls, antivirus/antimalware systems, spam filtering, and automated cloud or on-premise backups.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
