Warehouse Transportation Lead (Logistics)

Location: Laredo, TX, United States. Onsite, second shift from 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM.

What you will do

• Lead warehouse transportation staff and support flawless daily operational execution, staffing, scheduling, coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
• Plan daily operations, assign duties, provide documentation for receiving and shipping, and ensure compliance with operational standards, policies, and local regulations.
• Monitor service execution, productivity, KPIs, data integrity, yard pass accuracy, equipment availability, and operational efficiency.
• Manage inventory, OSD, process, customer, and shipment exceptions while supporting customer transitions, statistics, root-cause analysis, and resolution.
• Ensure correct use of hirify.global systems and tools, including CFIT, ETMS, TWMS, and ECCO, as well as accurate files, codes, trace types, and events.
• Oversee service providers, special-handling compliance for air cargo and hazardous materials, customer instructions, SOPs, billing-impacting activities, and workplace safety escalation.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Business Administration or related education, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–2 years of experience leading teams is preferred.
• Ability to learn and apply global logistics industry processes and procedures.
• Leadership style that empowers, coaches, mentors, and fosters a cohesive team environment while prioritizing employee satisfaction.
• Customer-satisfaction orientation, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels in written and oral form.
• Ability to influence employees at all levels, manage time effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to complete work within standard procedures, guidelines, and office policies.
• Self-driven personality, good business sense, and strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
