Project Manager, SMA Program Management

Location: Austin, TX, USA

Base salary: $112,000–$128,000 per year, plus a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Own project intake, prioritization, and tracking across multiple initiatives using Jira.
• Lead daily standups and coordinate project activities to keep deliverables on track.
• Drive accountability across Business Analysts and technology partners against agreed timelines and objectives.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to Business Analysts and help expand ownership of key applications and technology relationships.
• Develop project plans, status reports, PMO processes, workflow documentation, process maps, and operational procedures.
• Partner with business stakeholders to align priorities, communicate progress, risks, and dependencies, and improve governance and delivery practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university.
• 5–6 years of experience in project management, program management, business analysis, or a related field.
• Financial services industry experience is required.
• Strong experience with Jira, Confluence, Copilot, and Lucidchart.
• Experience coordinating Agile/Scrum teams, including daily standups and backlog management.
• Exceptional organizational, prioritization, follow-through, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive initiatives from concept to completion.

Nice to have

• Scrum Master, Agile, or Project Management certification.
• Experience supporting business applications and technology-enabled business processes.
• Strong process-mapping and workflow-documentation experience.
