Media Analyst (Casino Analytics)

Location: New York City; hybrid work arrangement.

Salary: $90,000–$112,000 USD annually, dependent on experience, location, business needs, and market demand.

What you will do

• Produce insights on media performance, year-over-year trends, and acquisition performance drivers.
• Present analysis focused on improving business outcomes.
• Handle business inquiries and analytical requests within the casino business.
• Scope and implement reporting and data visualization needs.
• Partner with media and growth teams on key decisions and support hirify.global Casino’s media strategy.
• Mentor junior analysts on day-to-day requests and team best practices.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in an analytics or technical role preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a highly numerate major such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics, or relevant experience in data and/or business analysis preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Tableau or another data visualization platform required.
• Strong organizational, time-management, problem-solving, stakeholder-management, and independent working skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity and to lead projects proactively.
• Ability to transform data into actionable business insights.
• Experience working in groups and leading smaller intra-year projects.
• Experience collaborating with colleagues in other countries and time zones preferred.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Python or R, cloud computing platforms such as Databricks, or ELT/data modeling tools such as dbt.
• Interest or experience in media and/or marketing.
• Interest in or experience with fantasy sports, gaming, or sports.
