Associate Director Global Vaccines Planning (Pharmaceutical Supply Chain)

Location: Hybrid role available in Durham, North Carolina, or West Point, Pennsylvania, United States; US and Puerto Rico residents only.

Base salary: $129,000–$203,100 annually for the primary location; annual bonus and long-term incentive may apply.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end product supply teams and develop supply plans and scenarios for assigned vaccine products.
• Balance demand, inventory, capacity, transfers, production, packaging, and delivery across manufacturing and supply chain nodes.
• Integrate regional and global brand strategies into supply plans covering a 0–36-month horizon.
• Lead product profit and inventory plans, set end-to-end supply targets, and guide supply execution strategies for global source changes.
• Address supply interruptions, bottlenecks, inventory risks, and supply-demand imbalances while supporting tactical escalations and strategic decisions.
• Lead continuous-improvement planning projects, analyze data, develop recommendations, and manage stakeholder issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, operations, life sciences, chemistry, biology, engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, vaccine, or another related regulated industry.
• Experience in supply chain planning, operations, master data management, inventory planning, demand planning, production planning, or value chain management.
• Experience supporting end-to-end supply planning across a manufacturing network.
• Experience with master data governance, ERP systems, and planning systems supporting supply chain execution.
• Experience coordinating with Manufacturing, Quality, Commercial, Finance, and Supply Chain stakeholders.
• Experience managing supply interruptions, inventory risks, and supply-demand imbalances in a regulated environment.
• Working knowledge of planning, MRP, ERP, inventory, and forecast planning; strong communication, stakeholder management, strategic thinking, and continuous-improvement skills.

Nice to have

• Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or vaccine industry experience.
• Proficiency with SAP, ERP/MRP, and planning systems.
• MBA or another advanced degree.
