Senior Advanced Planner (Core Automation)

Location: USA Remote & Travel; up to 20% travel may be required to client locations and company headquarters.

Base salary: $84,750.00–$124,300.00, varying by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

What you will do

• Review customer SOWs, sales forecasts, project requirements, and schedules to create quarterly purchasing plans and material spend forecasts.
• Manage material demand through advanced procurement and align requirements with project milestones and purchasing timelines.
• Coordinate with NPI, Engineering, Procurement, and Program Management on product releases, milestones, material requirements, and execution timelines.
• Validate buy lists, quantities, pricing, material requirements, and required dates before Procurement handoff.
• Identify long-lead, high-risk, and schedule-critical materials and drive mitigation actions.
• Resolve planning gaps and support continuous improvement and standardization of forecasting and procurement-readiness processes.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of related or equivalent work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with ERP systems; SAP experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of material planning, procurement, demand management, and supply-chain principles, including translating project requirements, BOMs, and SOWs into executable material and purchasing plans.
• Strong analytical skills, including forecasting, material-requirements analysis, and identification of supply, schedule, and cost risks.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and experience with ERP, MRP, or other planning systems.
• Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive and/or fly to client locations and company headquarters.
