Process Automation Specialist (RPA)

Location: Taguig City, Philippines; full-time employee position.

What you will do

• Work with Business Process Re-engineering, business stakeholders, and other functions to translate business needs into robust, efficient, and scalable technical designs.
• Build complex automation solutions using RPA technologies, programming languages, and relevant platforms.
• Apply process engineering and agile practices, including CI/CD, automated build, testing, deployment, and quality-focused development.
• Define and document implementation approaches, reusable design patterns, and solutions aligned with the Operational Excellence roadmap.
• Create and demonstrate high-fidelity prototypes to senior stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
• Operationalise automation support through incident management and enhancements within the Automation Governance and Delivery model.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, verbal, and written English communication skills, with the ability to work with all management levels.
• Capability in process analysis, solution design and implementation, technical requirements, system testing, UAT, bug fixing, process-flow design, and optimisation.
• Experience with one or more RPA technologies, such as Pega Robotics, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or Power Automate/Apps.
• At least 5 years of experience in Pega Robotics or another RPA tool.
• At least 8 years of professional programming experience, including scripting or coding, .NET, Python, VBA, SharePoint development, SQL and relational databases, and application development.
• Advanced knowledge of programming concepts using languages such as C/C++, Python, VBScript, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, or .NET; technical architecture for Automation/RPA projects; scalable and extensible solutions; and risk and internal controls applied to coding standards and business processes.
• Ability to manage and lead multiple automation initiatives across centre-wide and regional projects, facilitate data gathering, manage stakeholders, and mentor or coach Process Automation Engineers.
• At least 2 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably insurance.
• Strong agility, flexibility, adaptability to change, and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Conceptual knowledge of Agile/Scrum and/or project management, plus risk management and IT operations management skills.
