COBOL/DB2 Production Support Associate

Location: Taguig City, Philippines; in-person collaboration is prioritized.

What you will do

• Monitor, maintain, and support COBOL- and DB2-based production applications.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application incidents and system issues.
• Analyze batch job failures, application errors, and production alerts.
• Execute production support activities according to established procedures and documentation.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and support teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Assist with root cause analysis, process improvements, and accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and procedures.

Requirements

• Fresh graduate with a degree in BS Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related course.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic understanding of SQL, databases, and programming concepts.
• Eagerness to learn COBOL, DB2, JCL, mainframe, and enterprise technologies.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
