Executive Director, AI Delivery Management

Location: Hybrid in Rahway, New Jersey, United States; travel up to 25% to meet divisional partners, sponsor workshops, and lead distributed teams across multiple geographies.

Base salary: $231,900–$365,000 per year, plus annual bonus and long-term incentive eligibility where applicable.

What you will do

• Set the vision and strategy for AI engagement and delivery management, translating executive priorities into product, portfolio, engagement, and innovation plans.
• Lead and mentor delivery leaders and oversee a department of approximately 30 full-time employees across geographically dispersed technology centers.
• Oversee AI product management, including product strategy, roadmaps, enterprise fit, lifecycle management, requirements, user experience, metrics, and go-to-market readiness.
• Lead demand and portfolio management through triage, prioritization, valuation, investment criteria, reporting, intake processes, and stage-gate governance.
• Manage client and stakeholder partnerships, facilitate workshops, identify AI opportunities, and connect business needs to technical execution through process intelligence frameworks and design blueprints.
• Monitor delivery health, business impact, customer satisfaction, and outcomes across AI initiatives while promoting ethical, safe, and value-driven AI practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Exceptional relationship-building, interpersonal, communication, facilitation, executive presence, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to explain complex AI concepts in accessible language.
• Thought leadership in AI strategy, product management, portfolio governance, and enterprise transformation.
• Experience leading managers or leaders across multiple functional teams and geographies, with servant leadership, manager development, and high-performing distributed-team development.
• Proficiency in financial valuation, ROI analysis, risk assessment, decision frameworks, and governance design for technology investments and competing opportunities.
• Experience in cross-geography management and stakeholder engagement at enterprise scale.
• At least 15 years of progressive leadership experience in software development, including roles such as engineering manager, solution architect, developer lead, test engineer, software developer, or related functions, with progression to senior leadership.
• At least 5 years leading managers or leaders across multiple functional teams in multiple geographies.
• At least 5 recent years delivering enterprise AI or intelligent automation solutions with measurable business impact.
• Strong familiarity with agile, product, and portfolio management practices and tools.

• Advanced degree such as an MBA, MS in AI/ML, Computer Science, or a related field.
