Assistant Project Manager (Hospitality)

What you will do

• Support procurement, bid-package preparation, contractor proposal evaluation, project mobilization, contract administration, and team onboarding.
• Manage assigned portions of a multi-billion-dollar integrated resort development covering hospitality, entertainment, public assembly, retail, infrastructure, and mixed-use components.
• Monitor construction progress, site coordination, schedules, quality, safety, budget, risks, change orders, and project standards.
• Coordinate Construction Managers, consultants, contractors, specialty vendors, internal departments, and other stakeholders.
• Support inspections, punch-list development, commissioning, testing, training, closeout documentation, and transition to owner occupancy and operational turnover.
• Prepare project status reports, meeting summaries, executive updates, financial reporting, forecasts, and schedule-risk communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of construction and project management experience, including complex ground-up construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods, project controls, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
• Experience collaborating with Construction Managers, trade contractors, consultants, and specialty vendors.
• Ability to review construction documents, schedules, cost reports, payment applications, change orders, pricing proposals, and change-management documentation.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, or comparable project-management platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering luxury hotels, resorts, hospitality developments, entertainment venues, theaters, destination retail projects, or other high-end commercial developments.
• Experience supporting projects exceeding $100 million in construction value.
• Experience working within an owner’s organization, developer, or institutional real-estate environment.
• Familiarity with complex phased construction and large multidisciplinary project teams.
• OSHA 30 certification.
