Project Manager - AV Integration

Location: Orlando, FL, USA; hybrid work with frequent local travel to job sites and occasional remote travel.

Salary: $95,000–$115,000 per year

Designs and builds audiovisual and media technology systems for corporate, entertainment, sports, retail, and government environments.

What you will do

• Own audiovisual systems integration projects from initiation through closing, managing scope, schedule, cost, quality, profitability, and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate project communications, meetings, stakeholders, technicians, engineers, CAD and programming teams, subcontractors, and other trades.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, task lists, deliverables, status updates, and client communications.
• Perform field verification, document site conditions, coordinate drawings and design reviews, and resolve project risks and conflicts.
• Coordinate system programming, final checkout, punch-list completion, training, and project turnover to the client, service department, and sales.
• Travel frequently by car to construction sites and occasionally by airplane; use of PPE and compliance with job-site safety rules are required.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States and able to work in the Orlando, Florida area.
• 3+ years of project management experience with audiovisual systems in commercial construction or office environments.
• Experience with audiovisual system installations and knowledge of low-voltage electrical projects.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication, supervisory, people-management, planning, delegation, risk-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of residence and ability to travel to local and remote job sites.

• PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
• AVIXA CTS certification.
