Project Manager (Construction)

Location: Austin, TX, US; business travel between company locations, client sites, project sites, and other off-site destinations may be required.

What you will do

• Manage the full project lifecycle for assigned projects, primarily valued at $75,000 and under, from conception and planning through installation, closeout, and customer handoff.
• Prepare labor and material quotes, participate in kickoff and construction meetings, conduct site verification, and coordinate schedules, truck routes, field sequencing, and installation timing.
• Coordinate vendors, subcontractors, installers, materials, internal teams, and client stakeholders to maintain project schedules and deliverables.
• Track budgets, milestones, billing triggers, invoicing, punch lists, change orders, risks, documentation, and final turnover requirements.
• Communicate project status and updates, build client relationships, resolve issues proactively, and support post-installation service transitions.
• Improve project execution workflows, reporting dashboards, milestone templates, sales handoffs, and field readiness processes while ensuring safety and contract compliance.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in project management, implementation, client delivery, or construction coordination.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent commercial projects with schedule, budget, and vendor accountability.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and installation plans.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination.
• Strong customer relationship management capability.
• Valid driver’s license and a motor vehicle record meeting company safety, operational, and insurance standards.

Nice to have

• Experience in contract furniture, commercial interiors, architectural systems, flooring, construction, or specialty services.
• Experience coordinating installation sequencing, subcontractors, logistics, and closeout documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Interior Design, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Architecture, or a related field.
• PMP or CAPM certification.
