ServiceNow Systems Engineer

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and document systems and services across cloud-based and on-premises environments.
• Configure and script ServiceNow SAM Pro/Enterprise workflows, enhancements, data models, integrations, and platform solutions.
• Build data pipelines, APIs, discovery patterns, reconciliation frameworks, entitlement schemas, compliance dashboards, reports, and KPIs for software asset management.
• Manage upgrades, migrations, optimizations, implementations, system performance, security, and operational efficiency.
• Write scripts, templates, interfaces, and utility applications to automate processes and improve functionality.
• Provide level-three support and collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in systems engineering.
• Experience with infrastructure and systems lifecycle methodology and scripting appropriate to the area of expertise.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong background in ServiceNow scripting with JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, SQL, and system integrations.
• Experience translating Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, AWS, or similar publisher licensing rules into technical platform logic.
• Certified System Administrator (CSA) credential.
• Ability to perform the role's accountabilities, maintain regular attendance, comply with company policies and dress code, complete training, and work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, monitor activities across business units, and complete or oversee assigned projects on time.

Nice to have

• Certified Implementation Specialist – Software Asset Management (CIS-SAM).
• Familiarity with GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Understanding of software engineering practices, including CI/CD and automation.
• Knowledge of security best practices for system operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and continuous-learning abilities.
