SAP FI/CO Lead Functional Analyst (Manufacturing)

Location: Deerfield, Illinois, United States; on-site role with 24x7 on-call rotation for system emergencies.

Base salary: $105,000–$165,000 USD annually, plus participation in an annual bonus plan or role-based sales incentive plan.

What you will do

• Partner with business leaders, users, IT teams, developers, vendors, and service providers as the liaison for assigned business units.
• Lead SAP FI/CO functional and technical design, configuration, development, deployment, integration, and continuous improvement across global operations.
• Design prototypes, end-to-end architecture, integration requirements, specifications, proof-of-concepts, and buy-versus-build recommendations.
• Develop test plans and scenarios, create test data, coordinate unit testing, and support SAP application delivery.
• Manage project schedules, estimates, risks, requirements, priorities, deliverables, conflicts, and progress reporting.
• Provide SAP and finance-process training, oversee junior analysts, support change and service management, and coordinate SOX and internal and external audit activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline is required; equivalent additional work experience may substitute for the degree.
• High energy, confidence, effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to drive action for daily and project tasks.
• Availability 24x7 in an on-call rotation to handle off-hour system emergencies.
• 7+ years of IT experience supporting SAP FI/CO modules and their integration with SD and MM.
• Functional or technical expertise in SAP General Ledger, Closing, Tax, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cost Elements, Profit Center Accounting, Fixed Assets, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Investment Management in SAP ECC.
• Experience with web services; SAP ERP implementations from small to large scale across organizations and geographies; and local regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, waterfall project management, and Agile process methodologies.
• Strong analytical and project management skills, including translating customer business needs into application and operational requirements.
• Effective oral and written communication with internal customers, IT associates, third-party vendors, and senior IT leadership, including preparing and delivering organized presentations.
• Experience with IT ticketing and support systems such as ServiceNow and Jira in a Service Desk or Help Desk environment.

• Four-year bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a similar field.
• SAP S/4HANA expertise.
• PMP and/or CSM certification.
