Supply Chain Consultant - Defence & Security

Location: London, United Kingdom. Hybrid working with attendance in the office or on client site a minimum of 2 days per week; assignments may require up to 5 days per week on a client site. Applicants must be British citizens or have been continuously resident in the UK for the past 5 years to meet potential security-clearance requirements.

What you will do

• Deliver high-impact consulting projects for defence and security clients, supporting the growth of the Defence Supply Chain business.
• Assess client needs and challenges across supply chain and logistics functions.
• Advise on supply chain team transformation, logistics transformation, technology adoption, and the use of data.
• Develop and implement innovative solutions that improve business value, collaboration, and operational outcomes.
• Support clients in applying technical supply chain and logistics expertise to achieve their desired outcomes.
• Contribute to business development and the creation of new Supply Chain offerings.

Requirements

• Strong industrial supply chain and logistics experience across planning, operational supply chain management, and supply chain development.
• Extensive experience and comprehensive knowledge of Defence or adjacent-sector supply chains.
• Expertise in complex supply chain and logistics processes within Defence or adjacent sectors, including delivering value-for-money outcomes.
• Experience leading and supporting change initiatives in multifaceted stakeholder environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Ability to transfer skills and experience to supply chain transformation projects in new environments.
• Ability to contribute expertise to business development and the development of new Supply Chain offerings.
• Applicants for applicable UK roles must meet security-clearance eligibility requirements, including British citizenship or 5 years of continuous UK residency; all PA employees undergo background checks and Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks.

Nice to have

• CIPS, MCIPS, CILT, or equivalent supply chain and logistics qualification.
• Supply chain design and resilience assessment experience.
• Prior consulting experience.
