Senior Demand Planner

What you will do

• Validate monthly, weekly, and daily category forecasts from Commercial and Marketing against run rates, plans, customer strategies, historical trends, and operational reality.
• Own item-level planning by translating category forecasts into sub-category and item-variant forecasts across sales, volume, ASP, mix, margin, and production requirements.
• Improve weekly and daily forecast phasing using promotional mechanics, seasonal uplift, and Last Order Dates for key gifting events.
• Build practical forecasting models and tools that improve phasing inputs, data integrity, and planning efficiency.
• Own B2B vendor forecasting and integrate these forecasts into the central S&OP process.
• Prepare variance analysis and scenario reporting for monthly demand reviews and partner with Supply Planning on capacity planning.

Requirements

• Three to five years of dedicated Demand Planning experience in a fast-paced FMCG, retail, or e-commerce environment.
• Experience managing item-level planning, mix modeling, and promotional uplift analysis.
• Hands-on experience challenging Commercial and Marketing teams on forecast assumptions using clear data.
• Advanced MS Excel or Google Sheets data-modeling skills with complex multi-category and multi-country datasets.
• A strong commercial mindset and ability to manage defined processes independently.
• A practical problem-solving approach focused on workable tools rather than complex theoretical models.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Supply Planning, Merchandising, Marketing, or Finance.
• Experience in seasonal, high-volume direct-to-consumer or multi-market businesses.
• Experience using Demand Planning systems.
• Formal education or a degree in business, supply chain, or a related analytical field.
