Software Engineer 2 (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote nationwide in the United States; occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $80,900–$110,300 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and support software applications and services.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through production support.
• Develop and support front-end and back-end application components using modern web technologies.
• Collaborate with engineers, technical leads, architects, business partners, and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues; perform code reviews and maintain technical documentation.
• Support cybersecurity and identity access management initiatives and participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering, application development, or a related area.
• Experience developing both front-end and back-end applications.
• Experience with JavaScript and modern web development technologies.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.
• Experience with software design, development, testing, and production support.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Passion for contributing to continuous improvement of consumer experiences.
• Ability to work from a dedicated space with internet service providing at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds while protecting member PHI and HIPAA information.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience supporting cybersecurity or identity and access management solutions.
• Experience with cloud-based application development.
