Senior Software Engineer (Java/React)

Location: Hybrid schedule with three days per week in the office in Holmdel, New Jersey; Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; Pittsfield, Massachusetts; or Hudson Yards, New York City. Candidates must reside in New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania.

Salary: $95,170–$156,355 per year, plus potential incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and unit test features for a business-critical website.
• Create and maintain full-stack application functionality and software documentation.
• Collaborate with product owners to decompose features and align development work with project governance requirements.
• Apply security standards defined by the security office.
• Work in a SAFe agile team with developers, QA, business users, internal teams, and external partners.

Requirements

• 6 or more years of full-stack technology experience with J2EE and frontend technologies.
• Strong experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, React, Node, Next, Nest, TypeScript, micro-frontends, JPA/Hibernate/iBatis, REST APIs, GraphQL, SQL, Oracle, and DB2.
• Familiarity with Apache Tomcat, AWS, and microservices.
• Experience with release, build, and configuration management, as well as SDLC practices using Scaled Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, plus strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Must reside in New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania and be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
