Finance Analyst (Fintech)

Location: On-site in Chicago, United States

Base salary: $90,000–$115,000 USD per year, plus performance bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Manage daily top-ups and liquidity tracking across bank and stablecoin accounts, and build and maintain a 13-week cash forecast.
• Own monthly merchant and referral partner reporting, automate recurring reports, and add merchant profitability views.
• Prepare monthly finance and board materials and build a KPI dashboard to support leadership decisions.
• Analyze margins for merchant pricing requests, support pricing tools and the quote-to-cash process, and own the operating model, budget, and scenario planning.
• Run accounts payable and accounts receivable collections, document recurring processes, and help shorten the month-end close.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, Big 4 advisory, or FP&A/treasury at a high-growth company.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, with the ability to build a three-statement model and cash forecast from scratch.
• Ability to turn analysis into clear, concise slides for leadership.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort reconciling data across multiple sources.
• High ownership and the ability to finish work without being chased.
• Comfort with ambiguity and the pace of a high-growth startup, with readiness to work hard.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience in payments, fintech, or financial services.
• Familiarity with interchange, processor fees, or merchant pricing.
• Exposure to treasury operations, cash management, accounts receivable/accounts payable, SQL, or other data skills.
• Interest in stablecoins, crypto, or alternative payment rails.
