Electrical Engineer

Location: Minneapolis, MN; other location: Duluth, MN. Work-from-home flexibility is available, and site visits are completed as needed.

What you will do

• Lead electrical system design and general consulting for projects across multiple industries.
• Perform and delegate drafting and modeling using AutoCAD, Civil3D, and/or Revit.
• Complete electrical engineering calculations and advanced design calculations.
• Prepare quality documents under the Windsor Quality Management Plan and coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, architectural, structural, and other disciplines.
• Deliver constructible engineering documents, support project workflows, and provide client-focused solutions.
• Develop client relationships, expand electrical systems and code knowledge, mentor less experienced engineers and drafters, and complete site visits as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of experience in the MEP design industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in electrical engineering calculations and comfort with advanced calculations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.

Nice to have

• EIT certification.
