Electrical Engineering Intern

Location: Beaverton, Oregon, United States; onsite work including project meetings, site visits, and field observations.

Salary: $20.00–$25.00 hourly.

What you will do

• Assist with electrical drawings, calculations, reports, research, and project documentation.
• Support the design and coordination of power, lighting, communication, and low-voltage systems.
• Participate in project meetings, site visits, field observations, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Apply electrical engineering principles, design tools, codes, and technical standards to active projects with guidance and mentorship.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Completed relevant engineering or technical coursework.
• Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles.
• Basic proficiency with AutoCAD or Revit and Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to have

• Internship or co-op experience in electrical design.
• Familiarity with electrical load calculation software.
• Involvement in IEEE or related professional organizations.
