Site Manager (Construction)

Location: Huddersfield, United Kingdom; based on a construction project in the North East region.

What you will do

• Manage, control, and support the engineering, construction, and completion of projects on time and within budget.
• Implement the Project Management Plan, site procedures, practices, records, and documentation.
• Coordinate direct and subcontract labour, subcontractor attendance, progress, and allocation records.
• Monitor quality records and verify that works meet specified requirements.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety plans, hirify.global operating procedures, and environmental procedures.
• Manage handover schedules, keys, spares, completion documentation, and buildability issues.

Requirements

• Experience delivering high-quality projects and working on various types of construction projects.
• Groundworks experience and broad construction-based technical experience.
• A relevant Health & Safety qualification and competence to carry out directed site management tasks; SMSTS is preferred.
• Confident use of IT packages and systems.
• Self-motivation and good communication skills.
• HNC, degree, MCIOB, equivalent qualification, or a trade background.
• Full driving licence.
