Section Engineer (Civil Engineering)

Location: On-site in Aberdeenshire, North East Scotland, United Kingdom.

What you will do

• Support the delivery of major civil engineering and renewable energy infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with foremen, gangers, clients, designers, resident engineers, and the supply chain to ensure clear communication and accurate project records.
• Manage setting-out checks, survey books, daily diaries, inspection and test plans, material testing, and construction documentation.
• Prepare and monitor four-week programmes, track progress, and contribute to weekly site review meetings.
• Prepare risk assessments and method statements, monitor site safety and environmental performance, and remedy unsafe work or non-compliance.
• Supervise chainpersons, assistants, and site engineers while managing material take-offs, requisitions, delivery tickets, and cost coding.

Requirements

• Degree or HND in Civil Engineering, or an equivalent NVQ Level qualification.
• CSCS qualification at Academically or Professionally Qualified Person, Supervisory, or Manager level.
• SSSTS qualification.

Nice to have

• Successful experience at Site Engineer level.
• ICE Technician or Incorporated level qualification, or equivalent.
