Associate Fire Engineer

What you will do

• Assist and manage a team of fire consultants, providing advice to partners.
• Complete PQQ/bid documents and ensure quality assurance and compliance for clients.
• Conduct site visits to deliver fire consultancy services including surveys, risk assessments, and remediation management.
• Liaise with enforcing authorities and advise clients on fire safety standards and best practices.
• Develop the fire consultancy service and provide management financial reporting.

Requirements

• Level 5 minimum qualification in Fire Discipline; ideally engineering-related degree plus IEng or CEng status.
• Robust knowledge of UK fire safety legislation.
• Membership of IFE/IFSM or equivalent.
• Strong technical delivery experience, ability to direct and manage complex projects.
• Track record in line management, team development, securing new business, and building client relationships.
• Client-facing with experience prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines; team player.
