2027 Claims Summer Internship Program

Location: Warren, NJ, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely. The 10-week program runs from May 31, 2027, through August 6, 2027.

Salary: $800 per week. Benefits during the internship include health insurance coverage, 401(k) match, paid holidays, and paid time off.

What you will do

• Support Claims leaders across a diverse multi-class portfolio with market responses and accurate reserving throughout the claims adjustment lifecycle.
• Participate in meetings and prepare presentations related to high-value and complex losses alongside experienced claims adjusters.
• Participate in client visits and audits to develop investigative skills.
• Collaborate on projects involving research into industry data sources.
• Take part in leader-led events, cross-functional group projects, and professional development activities.
• Use AI and emerging technologies to solve business challenges, improve efficiency, and enhance decision-making.

Requirements

• Be a junior pursuing a bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university.
• Major in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Political Science, Risk Management, or a similar field.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, analytical, critical thinking, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
• Have proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Excel proficiency includes pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Be able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and priorities.
