Associate Director, Digital Assets - CGS (Fintech)

Location: New York City, USA; hybrid role and not available as fully remote. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

Salary: $145,000–$175,000 per year.

What you will do

• Develop and implement CGS strategy related to cryptocurrencies and tokenized securities.
• Collaborate with hirify.global, the American Bankers Association, and the CUSIP Board of Trustees to keep CUSIP and CGS ISINs fit for purpose and relevant to the digital asset market.
• Build and leverage relationships with digital asset ecosystem participants, including exchanges, wallet hosting services, and token issuers.
• Participate in ISO TC68 and ANSI X9 standards activities to represent CGS interests in digital asset standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 12+ years of experience in financial services, including exposure to both traditional finance and digital assets or DeFi markets.
• Deep understanding of capital markets, financial instruments, securities issuance, and reference data ecosystems.
• Expertise in financial services standards and identifiers, including CUSIP, ISIN, LEI, and related industry frameworks.
• Knowledge of tokenized securities, cryptocurrencies, smart contracts, wallets, public and private blockchain networks, digital asset exchanges, and token issuers.
• Experience working with industry standards organizations, market infrastructure providers, regulators, or trade associations.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives and influence stakeholders across financial institutions, industry bodies, and emerging digital asset market participants.
• Established network within digital asset and financial services communities.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
