Tool Install Manager (Semiconductor)

Location: Onsite in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States; the role may require travel or relocation as business needs require.

Annual salary: $118,150–$234,950 USD.

What you will do

• Lead complex semiconductor tool installation, conversion, and de-installation programs from design through execution.
• Manage cross-functional teams delivering multiple capital and expense projects across semiconductor manufacturing facilities.
• Oversee program scope, schedules, budgets, quality, operational performance, risk management, and project execution.
• Manage supplier and contractor partnerships, including workforces of 100–1,000 contingent workers and specialized trade partners.
• Serve as the site expert for Tool Install Design in partnership with Tool Install Construction Engineering, Technology Development, and site execution teams.
• Drive improvements in safety, productivity, cost efficiency, supplier performance, workforce development, construction methods, and factory ramp execution.

Requirements

• 9+ years of strategic leadership or program management experience in large-scale construction, semiconductor tool installation, or qualification programs, in lieu of a degree, or a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 6+ years of leadership experience in Tool Install Management, Design Management, Engineering Management, Construction Management, or Module Management.
• Experience managing large-scale operations, programs, and capital projects.
• Experience with the construction project lifecycle and semiconductor facility systems and operations.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and influence skills in highly matrixed organizations.
• Ability to drive change, decision-making, proactive risk assessment, and constraint management in fast-paced environments.
• Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
• Flexibility to travel or relocate as business needs require.

Nice to have

• MBA or PhD with expertise in Program Management and Tool Install or Qualification ramp execution.
• Project Management Professional certification.
• Experience leading semiconductor factory tool installation ramps.
