Principle Program Manager, New Product Transition - E4 (Semiconductor)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; onsite only, not remote or hybrid. Travel required approximately 10% of the time. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $116,000–$159,500 per year, plus potential bonus and stock awards.

What you will do

• Lead matrixed manufacturing, engineering, procurement, supplier, and program management teams through new product introduction deliverables.
• Coordinate pilot manufacturing and early-learning builds to achieve target milestones.
• Develop and execute product commercialization and operations strategies with cross-functional product management and business teams.
• Analyze designs and production maturity to improve volume manufacturability and manage operational risk.
• Plan scope, activities, resources, schedules, budgets, documentation, and cross-project dependencies.
• Report program status to senior management, manage risks and issues, and drive action items through closure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, preferably mechanical or electrical engineering, with an MBA.
• 6–8 years of experience in project management, program management, or data analysis.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
• Knowledge of project and program management methodologies, manufacturing operations, product lifecycle management, and engineering change management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Excel for planning, scheduling, analysis, and reporting.
• Knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation for financial planning and tracking.

Nice to have

• Semiconductor industry experience.
• Working knowledge of SAP and relational databases such as MS SQL Server.
• Experience developing Excel macros or using data analytics tools such as Minitab.
• PMP or Scrum certification.
