Supervisor-Plant (Manufacturing)

Location: Trenton, New Jersey, United States; on-site five days per week. Second shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.

Annual base salary: $75,600.00–$108,639.99

What you will do

• Lead the overall performance of a production team across safety, quality, cost, time, and output.
• Monitor daily operations in a high-volume lean manufacturing environment and supervise materials usage to maintain production flow.
• Identify process-improvement opportunities and support plant programs, including 5S, TAKT attainment, units per man hour, safety, and cost targets.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, HR, Finance, Materials, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement leaders.
• Communicate production goals and plant-wide initiatives while coaching, training, and developing production associates.
• Resolve production problems and employee conflicts while maintaining effective working relationships.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous manufacturing supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-management skills.
• Effective communication skills and a supportive approach to teamwork.
• Ability to work on-site in Trenton, New Jersey, five days per week, on the second shift.
