Production Supervisor/Process Owner (Manufacturing)

Location: Dover, Delaware, United States; onsite at the Dover Plant. The role oversees three-shift, 24-hour operations and requires flexible hours, overtime, and shift adjustments.

Salary: $77,800–$97,300 annual base salary, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Oversee daily production operations, including throughput, yield, labor costs, asset utilization, employee coverage, and shift coordination.
• Lead, coach, and develop production teams while promoting empowerment, teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement.
• Drive continuous improvement, productivity, cost-reduction, problem-solving, and plant optimization initiatives.
• Manage compliance with KHMS, QRMP, EHS, HACCP, 5S, safety, quality, sanitation, and housekeeping standards.
• Lead performance and planning meetings, including PDCA, DPM, and Level 1 and Level 2 meetings.
• Conduct root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and maintain accurate production, payroll, inventory, and performance records.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience leading teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, planning, organization, prioritization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, operational standards, plant document control, record-keeping, work instructions, SOPs, and OPLs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and with KPI tracking.
