3rd Shift Senior Assembly Production Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Sanford, North Carolina, United States. Onsite, Monday–Thursday, 7:00 PM–6:00 AM. Domestic relocation assistance is not available.

Salary: $112,710–$169,060 per year, plus an 8% third-shift premium.

What you will do

• Coordinate material, equipment, staffing, quality, production schedules, and customer satisfaction for assembly operations.
• Lead, motivate, develop, and manage operations staff and managers.
• Oversee safety, productivity, schedule adherence, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, cost, quality, and production performance improvements.
• Determine budget requirements, forecast production needs, and plan cost-saving projects.
• Audit and report safety, quality, certification, standard work, productivity, and overall equipment effectiveness metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or seven years of progressive manufacturing management experience.
• Experience leading managers and working cross-functionally with support departments.
• Extensive knowledge of assembly processes, manufacturing operations, and production tools.
• Experience with project management and Lean Manufacturing implementation.
• Strong business acumen and decision-making skills in cost analysis, safety, and headcount management.
