Cost Manager

Location: Hybrid, based in Richmond, VA; New York, NY; Lansdale, PA; Boston, MA; Raleigh, NC; Washington, DC; Charleston, SC; or Atlanta, GA, with short periods of travel to meet clients, partners, and the team.

Salary: $84,000–$112,000 per year, depending on experience, skill set, and education.

What you will do

• Support the settlement of construction disputes and loss and expense claims transparently.
• Resolve commercial, change order, and contract issues quickly and fairly.
• Prepare and agree final accounts, including claims, to help clients achieve best value from completed works.
• Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments.
• Support project management through accurate cost documentation and timely communication.
• Participate in tender and bid processes, oversee project spend, and prepare valuations, cost reports, and variation updates.

Requirements

• Experience in pre- and post-contract cost management on varied projects.
• A degree or comparable experience in cost management or a construction discipline.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage personal priorities and deadlines.
• Willingness to travel for short periods to meet clients, partners, and team members.
• Ability to build strong relationships with teams and clients through shared purpose, openness, and collaboration.
