IT Project Manager

Location: St. Louis, Missouri, 63166; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office.

What you will do

• Independently define and manage the scope, schedules, resources, budgets, forecasts, and delivery of large, complex, and high-risk IT projects.
• Coordinate project planning, demand planning, cost management, invoice review, risk analysis, issue resolution, and change control.
• Manage vendors by reviewing requests for proposals and contracts, selecting appropriate vendors, and applying strategic vendor management practices.
• Lead stakeholder communication, recurring status meetings, project transparency, and delivery preparation across Digital Project Managers, Digital Supervisors, and Digital Directors.
• Develop and implement change management strategies and plans to maintain stakeholder and user engagement.
• Support PMO processes, methodologies, tools, automation, team velocity, servant leadership, and removal of delivery barriers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience in project management, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, or project accounting, including cost management systems supporting project budgets, forecasts, and spend.
• Good experience with Agile projects and SAFe.
• Experience managing project finances, schedules, risks, documentation, and cost overruns.
• Expert project management knowledge, including project planning, timing, cost, resource utilization, risk analysis, and scope management.
• Experience with change management strategies and principles.
• Experience navigating teams through roadblocks and enabling sprints to be completed on time.
• Experience with project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Ability to work on a W-2 basis only; C2C and 1099 arrangements are not accepted.

• Experience with HR projects.
• 2+ years of experience at large organizations or Fortune 500 companies.
