Associate Director, Financial Planning (AI/Automation)

Location: Hybrid work in New York City, United States, with approximately two days per week in the office

Salary: $133,400–$238,400 USD, plus eligibility for a bonus

What you will do

• Lead annual budgeting, strategic planning, quarterly forecasting, and full P&L and cash flow planning.
• Partner with divisional executives and business leaders to establish performance frameworks, governance, accountability, and decision support.
• Analyze commercial models, operating processes, systems, and business drivers to identify risks, opportunities, and performance improvements.
• Translate complex financial and operational information into insights, recommendations, business cases, and action plans.
• Improve management reporting, financial controls, forecast accuracy, analytical capabilities, processes, systems, and tools.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team while remaining involved in complex analysis and execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related business field.
• At least 7 years of experience in finance, financial planning, business operations, or related roles.
• Progressive experience in financial planning, business partnering, corporate finance, or business operations, including leadership of professional employees.
• Strong capabilities in financial analysis, forecasting, scenario modeling, business performance management, investment evaluation, and root-cause analysis.
• Experience partnering with executives, influencing decisions, resolving complex cross-functional issues, and implementing financial or operational strategies.
• Advanced proficiency with financial modeling, Excel, PowerPoint, enterprise financial systems, data visualization, and analytical tools.

• Master’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
