Company

hirify.global builds digital asset, payment, stablecoin, and programmable blockchain infrastructure for enterprises, financial institutions, and developers.

What you will do

  • Own the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for the identity and access platform supporting hirify.global Hub, hirify.global Mint, Custody, the Cross-Chain Payments Network, and Developer Console.
  • Manage, coach, hire, and grow backend and frontend engineers, including developing senior individual contributors into technical leaders.
  • Lead technical designs, review critical code paths, debug production issues, build prototypes, and participate in incident response.
  • Partner with Security, Product, Onboarding, Risk, and product engineering teams integrating with identity capabilities.
  • Sequence competing requests into a roadmap, explain architectural trade-offs, and lead planning, migrations, cutovers, rollback plans, and status reporting.
  • Improve engineering practices, operational readiness, and reliability of platform capabilities.

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience managing software engineers, including hiring, performance management, coaching, and developing senior individual contributors, plus experience leading a significant migration, re-platforming, or architectural change.
  • Substantial hands-on experience building identity, authentication, authorization, or access-control systems at scale.
  • Experience may include OAuth 2.x and OIDC, SAML and enterprise SSO, session and token design, API credentials, service or workload identity, MFA and passkeys, or policy and entitlement engines.
  • Experience designing systems that other teams built on, explaining architectural trade-offs, managing migration and adoption, and evaluating what would be changed in a new design.
  • Recent production engineering experience, including designing, prototyping, reviewing, or shipping production code, and the ability to debug difficult authentication or authorization issues.
  • Experience handling real-world identity and authorization security problems and improving the design or operating model as a result.
  • Ability to write usable design documents, explain complex systems clearly, and provide leadership with direct recommendations.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Okta, Auth0, or an equivalent customer identity platform, including hosted-versus-custom architecture decisions, organization-level policies, or extensibility mechanisms.
  • Experience with AI agent identity, delegated authorization, workload identity, service identity, or other non-human identity systems.
  • Understanding of agent registration and lifecycle, delegation chains, least privilege, token scoping, revocation, auditability, and accountability for agents acting on behalf of people or organizations.
  • Experience building or operating systems where software agents or automated services take consequential actions under bounded authority.
  • Experience in fintech, crypto, payments, or another regulated environment involving KYC/KYB, entitlements, auditability, and operational controls.
  • Familiarity with on-behalf-of token exchange, MCP authorization, SPIFFE/SPIRE, workload identity federation, agent registries, or policy engines such as OPA or Cedar.
  • Experience with Java or Kotlin backend systems and modern TypeScript frontend applications.
  • Experience leading a geographically distributed team.

Culture & Benefits

  • Flexible work environment with an emphasis on visibility, stability, integrity, and excellence.
  • Work on digital asset, payment, stablecoin, and blockchain infrastructure used for global financial innovation.
  • Inclusive workplace with equal opportunity employment practices.
  • Interview accommodations are available for candidates with disabilities.
