Director of Information Technology (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within the United States; occasional travel of up to approximately 10% may be required for team meetings, company events, or hub locations.

Salary: $218,000–$256,000 annually, plus eligible stock options.

hirify.global is a remote cybersecurity SaaS company developing the NodeZero platform for autonomous penetration testing and security assessment operations.

What you will do

• Define and execute the multi-year IT strategy and roadmap.
• Lead Help Desk, Corporate Systems, IT Engineering, and Infrastructure teams, including managers and senior individual contributors.
• Own IT service delivery for distributed employees, including endpoint, identity, collaboration, onboarding, offboarding, and device logistics.
• Establish operating practices for intake, prioritization, change management, incident management, documentation, and communications.
• Partner with Security, Engineering, Compliance, People, and Finance to operate secure-by-default IT environments.
• Manage IT platforms, budgets, vendors, contracts, KPIs, SLOs, and high-impact incident escalations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years of people leadership and experience managing managers and distributed teams.
• Experience owning IT strategy and operations in a mid-sized or larger organization, preferably in SaaS, cybersecurity, or a regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of endpoint and device lifecycle management, identity and access management, collaboration suites, ITSM, cloud infrastructure, and network connectivity.
• Experience with enterprise AI administration and enablement, such as Claude, Gemini, or AWS Bedrock.
• Ability to design scalable IT processes and partner with Security, Engineering, and Compliance on identity, access, and device security controls.
• Strong communication, vendor management, ownership, and decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up.
• Cybersecurity, IT security engineering, security framework, or audit experience, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, or FedRAMP.
• Experience supporting federal, regulated, or public sector customers.
• Prior IT leadership in a remote-first organization.
